Drake Shows Off His ‘Life-Size’ Owl Pendant Made of Over Two Pounds of Gold & More Than 100 Carats of Diamonds
Diamonds are Drake‘s best friend, at least if they come in a “life-size” owl design.
The rapper debuted a new huge owl pendant, which bespoke jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills says is made of “over a kilo of gold & and over 100 carats of Asscher cut diamonds,” over the weekend on Instagram. (One kilo is equal to roughly 2.2 pounds.)

“New bird from @jasonofbeverlyhills LIFE SIZE,” Drake wrote on Twitter for the reveal. The diamond-and-gold owl is attached to a chain in the video he posted, and based on his jeweler’s images, its size actually appears to be just a bit bigger than one’s palm.
“6 weeks ago @champagnepapi calls and says ‘I need you to make something,'” the jeweler said. “Today he says, ‘It’s the infinity gauntlet.'”
The owl is a nod to OVO and isn’t the first to land in Drake’s hands. In April 2017, he got a custom gold owl chain with 40 carats of ice blue, canary and white VVS diamonds, made by jeweler Ben Baller.
