Dylan Dreyer Says Son Cal Is 'Ready for College' After Learning Vital New Skill

Dylan Dreyer says her oldest son Cal is "ready for college" after picking up a vital new skill while on vacation.

According to the Today personality, the family of five just got back from their annual trip with her husband Brian Fichera's family—which, according to fans who recognized some of the background, took place in Turks and Caicos—and while there, they prepared the 7-year-old for his higher education by teaching him how to play a quintessential party game: Kings.

If you're unfamiliar, the drinking game involves a deck of cards, with each face card representing a different rule or action that the player(s) must follow.

Within the carousel of photos was one showing the family sitting around a wooden patio table while Cal took his turn playing a card in the center of the circle of cards (while the Ficheras discarded straight on the table, people often discard each card underneath the tab of a drink can, with the person whose card finally causes the can to crack open usually forced to chug it).

"Every year we are so blessed to travel to paradise with Brian’s whole family. Cousins, cousins, cousins…what else matters to a kid???" Dreyer captioned the photoset. "Also, taught Cal how to play Kings so he’s ready for college."

"Looks like Cal broke the circle. He better finish his juice," one follower joked in response, while another commented, "You make family gatherings so special. ??."

Many fans also wanted to know if the family's luggage made it safely, as, during last year's family vacation, their bags ended up in Amsterdam (where they were not), leaving them in "the [same] clothes for the whole trip..." Over a month later, their bags finally arrived back home in New York, which the meteorologist was thrilled to announce on Today, giddily wheeling her suitcase out in the studio.

"Ladies and gentleman [sic]…thank you for putting up with my luggage saga for the past 5 weeks," she wrote on Instagram the same day. "It has traveled the world and back again, literally. The best part is all my clothes are clean and I don’t have to do laundry!"

Along with Cal, Dreyer and her husband are the parents of two younger boys, Oliver and Rusty.
