The 2024 Academy Museum Gala welcomed some of the brightest stars to the red carpet in Los Angeles on Saturday. The star-studded event, held for the fourth consecutive year, featured celebrities like Ariana Grande and more in their best designer threads.

Eiza González opted for an ethereal look with a silk dress courtesy of Nina Ricci. The white gown featured a slim fit and a flowing skirt, with a slight vintage appeal and exposed back. The actress paired the dress with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and jewelry by David Yurman. González’s look was curated by stylist Elizabeth Saltzman.
Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande went vintage with her look for the Academy Museum Gala. The “Wicked” star wore a strapless dress with a black-and-white polka dot motif courtesy of Balmain. The dress featured a bow at the bustline and a black cinched waist. Grande was styled by Mimi Cuttrell.
Nicole Richie
Nicole Richie brought a splash of color to the red carpet in a long-sleeve yellow dress from Rochas’ resort 2025 collection. The dress featured a plunging neckline and draped sleeves.
Joey King
Joey King favored a stark color contrast with her red carpet look. The actress wore a dress from Carolina Herrera’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection, which featured a halter and plunging neckline with a black bodice, a cinched, high-waist silhouette and a flowing skirt with pockets.
Ayo Edebiri
“The Bear” star Ayo Edebiri brought tiered drama and corseted structure with her look. The actress and Emmy-winner wore a look courtesy of Thom Browne’s fall 2024 couture collection, which featured a skirt with tiered, pleated fabric and a thigh-high slit, along with a corseted bodice and structured hips. Edebiri was styled by Danielle Goldberg.
Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick glittered in this blue look by Monique Lhuillier. The strapless dress featured all-over blue sequins with ornately designed blue botanical elements cascading down the fabric of the bodice and skirt of the dress.
The Academy Museum Gala is an annual fundraising event held in Los Angeles, Calif., by members of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. The gala raises funds to support the museum’s dedicated cinema exhibits, along with education programs and public programming, among other endeavors.
