Eli Roth's ‘Green Inferno’ Trailer: Greenpeace Volunteers Get Eaten by Cannibals (Video)

Horror connoisseur Eli Roth proves good intentions don't always lead to good things in the first full trailer for “Green Inferno,” his first directorial effort since 2007's “Hostel: Part II.”
The premise is pretty simple: A group of Greenpeace volunteers fly from New York City to the Amazon to save a dying tribe, but after their plane crashes in the jungle, they're taken hostage by the very natives they're trying to protect.

To make matters worse, their captors are cannibals, and they're hungry for Americans.
“Green Inferno” lands in theaters on Sept. 5.
