‘Emilia Perez’ Star Zoe Salda?a Wore Strappy Christian Louboutin x Maison Margiela Tabi Pumps at the 2025 Critics’ Circle Film Awards in London
Zoe Salda?a‘s avant-garde dress and shoes surely garnered some second looks at the Critics’ Circle Film Awards in London last night. Salda?a accepted the award for Supporting Actress of the Year for her role in “Emilia Pérez.”
Posing on the red carpet at The Mayfair Hotel, the Oscar-nominated actress showed off a dramatic strapless dress from Maison Margiela‘s Artisanal Couture Fall 2022 collection. The haute couture dress featured a sweetheart neckline with a bustier-style bodice covered in strips of shiny black fabric. A cinched waist gave way to a structured skirt boasting an overlapping circular print throughout and a unique gathered effect. Strips of black fabric that could be likened to a plastic bag hung from the skirt and hemline, completing the look.

For shoes, Salda?a wore simple black pumps that appeared unassuming at first glance. But upon further inspection, it was clear she was sporting Maison Margiela’s iconic split-toe Tabi pumps. Specifically, she donned a pair of silky black Christian Louboutin for Maison Margiela Tabis featuring skinny crossover straps that fastened at the side just below the ankle. The closed-toe silhouette was finished with stiletto heels that looked to be about 4 inches in height.
The actress has been working consistently with stylist Petra Flannery over the course of the “Emilia Pérez” promotional tour. Flannery is also known for working with high-profile celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Renée Zellweger, Emma Stone, and Amy Adams. Recently, Salda?a has been wearing plenty of Saint Laurent, as well as other popular brands like Marni, Ferragamo, Victoria Beckham, Christopher Kane, and Jil Sander. As for shoes, she’s opted for styles from Italian luxury label Alevì Milano, London-based brand Hagelstam, Saint Laurent, Christian Louboutin, and Aquazzura.
When it comes to her footwear choices, Salda?a tends to gravitate towards bolder looks that pop on the red carpet, as well as on screen. The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star has been known to wear eye-catching shoes, including styles with snakeskin embossing, metallic details, and whimsical silhouettes with knotted straps. She’s worn both Saint Laurent’s Carole satin crystal-embellished sandals and Ferragamo’s Eva F-heel pumps on multiple occasions.
