Emma Corrin Brings Brat Green to the Venice Film Festival

Ever the red carpet chameleon, Emma Corrin left quite the impression at the 81st Venice International Film Festival in a vibrant two-piece set.
On Saturday, the actor stepped out for the Miu Miu Women’s Tales event, and accordingly, repped the brand head-to-toe. Corrin tapped into the label’s penchant for prep with a cropped pea coat that featured three-quarter sleeves, pairing the top with a body-hugging column skirt that stopped just below their knees. The coordinated look didn’t seem far off from Miu Miu’s usual tailored outfits, save for its bright green color.
Doused in the neon hue, the matching set unmistakably took on the color of the season—that being brat summer. After Charli XCX released her latest album, Brat, its carefree attitude and vivid green cover art sartorially inspired everyone from Rihanna to Kaia Gerber, and now Corrin. Though their look skewed more librarian than party girl, its flashy hue certainly kept the outfit from feeling too stuffy.
Careful accessorizing only refined their look further. The actor paired their coordinated ensemble with Miu Miu’s popular brushed leather slingbacks, complete with multiple strappy details. In hand, they toted a black version of the brand’s Arcadie leather bag, opting to carry the small purse by its top handles.
In contrast with their outfit, the actor went for a simplified glam. They emphasized their blue eyes with black eyeliner, and wore dark pink lipstick. Their finishing touches included a large diamond ring on their left hand, as well as small diamond earrings and a diamond-encrusted bangle bracelet in the shape of a leopard. In later photos with beau Rami Malek, the actor also sported an angular pair of black Miu Miu sunglasses.
During an earlier event, Corrin showed off their versatile style in a daring number from Burc Akyol. The black dress featured a silky slip skirt and a transparent mesh top, which scantily covered up the actor’s chest with black sleeves that draped downward from their collarbones. The risqué ensemble otherwise exposed their shoulders and toned midriff, while Corrin accessorized with a large diamond ring and dangling diamond earrings, both courtesy of Cartier. Black leather kitten heels with lace-up accents completed the actor’s look.
