Emma Thompson is everything — just ask her daughter!
The Love Actually actress' daughter, Gaia Wise, shared a cheeky post on her Instagram Stories on Monday, July 29, poking fun at the 2023 Barbie movie's tagline — and Thompson's ex, Kenneth Branagh.
The post, shared on X (formerly Twitter) in July 2023, featured stills from the 1993 adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing starring Thompson, 65, and Branagh, 63.
"She's everything. He's just Ken," it reads, with a picture of Thompson as Beatrice on the left, and Branagh as Benedick on the right.

Thompson and Branagh met on the set of the 1987 miniseries Fortunes of War. They married in 1989.
Throughout their marriage as the British "Golden Couple," Branagh directed several movies in which Thompson appeared, including Henry V, Dead Again, Peter’s Friends and Much Ado About Nothing.
The couple split six years later when the Dunkirk actor had an affair with Helena Bonham Carter.

When the former couple announced their split, they said they "drifted apart" due to conflicting work schedules, according to The New York Times. "Our work has inevitably led to our spending long periods of time away from each other, and as a result, we have drifted apart," they said in October 1995.
The Oscar-winning actress told The New Yorker in 2022 about learning about the affair, saying she was "blind" to the extramarital relationships. "I was utterly, utterly blind to the fact that he had relationships with other women on set."
Adding: "What I learned was how easy it is to be blinded by your own desire to deceive yourself."

Thompson told The Sunday Times in 2013 that she doesn't have any grudges against Bonham Carter or Branagh. “That is… all blood under the bridge. You can’t hold on to anything like that,” she said at the time.
“It’s pointless. I haven’t got the energy for it… Helena and I made our peace years and years ago… she’s a wonderful woman," she added.
Thompson has been married to her Sense and Sensibility costar, Greg Wise, since 2003. They share two children.
Branagh, meanwhile, wed Lindsay Brunnock in 2003.
