Emmys: ShÅgun, The Bear and Baby Reindeer Win Big â Hacks Named Best Comedy
The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards were held this Sunday night, in a ceremony hosted by Eugene and Dan Levy and airing on ABC, live from the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE.
Heading into the 2024 Emmys, FXâs ShÅgun led the TV pack with 25 total nominations, and when all was said and done, it converted on 18 of âem â an Emmys record â including wins for best drama and lead actors Anna Sawai and Hiroyuki Sanada.

FX/Huluâs The Bear cooked up 11 total wins, breaking the single-season record for a comedy set by⊠well, The Bear, back in January at the Hollywood strikes-delayed 2023 Emmys.

Maxâs Hacks, however, prevented a sweep by The Bear, by scoring wins for best comedy, writing and lead actress Jean Smart.
Netflixâs Baby Reindeer picked up three big wins on Sunday night, for limited series and leads Richard Gadd and Jessica Gunning.
All told, ShÅgun racked up the most wins at the 76th Emmy Awards (with 18), followed by The Bear (11), Baby Reindeer and NBCâs Saturday Night Live (six each), and the Disney+ documentary Jim Henson Idea Man (five).
