‘Empire’ Starlet V.Bozeman Makes Everybody ‘Smile’ With Timbaland Duet
Lucious Lyon’s sons – Jamal and Hakeem – aren’t the only talented musicians to get some deserved spotlight on Empire, FOX’s popular hip-hop drama. Reoccurring character Veronica, portrayed by stunning singer V.Bozeman, is commanding interest in her music beyond the show.
The Timbaland protégé, who hails from South Central Los Angeles, appeared on Wednesday’s episode, performing “Hourglass,” a song written by Howard.
On Thursday, Bozeman and Timbaland released the duet “Smile.” While Empire is big on controversy, “Smile,” couldn’t be more uplifting. The feel good lyrics celebrate finding a mate able to inspire especially during tough times. An Auto-Tune-assisted Tim joins V for the chorus, “I know that we gon’ make it when I see you smile.”
