ESPN's Stephen A. Smith Shares Outspoken Opinion on Taylor Swift's Big Move

Stephen A. Smith is one of the latest celebrities to weigh in on Taylor Swift's recent endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris—and the sports commentator didn't mince any words.

Instead, the TV personality and NBA analyst took to X (formerly Twitter) to address Swift's decision to endorse Harris' presidential candidacy just minutes after the politician walked off the stage following a debate against opponent Donald Trump on Tuesday, Sept. 10.

After Swift, 34, shared a lengthy Instagram post Tuesday night to let fans know that she will be casting her vote for Harris come November, Smith, 56, said the singer timed her statement "perfectly."

"Talk about gaining momentum," Smith wrote in his message, while adding, "?@taylorswift13 timed this perfectly, revealing her endorsement right after the debate."

Smith—who has already voiced public support for the "Bejeweled" songstress in the past—went on to point out that Swift's post garnered "nearly 2 million likes in 21 min."
