This 'Wonder Woman' character made a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo in the sequel
Lucy Davis has revealed she reprised her DC Comics role as Etta Candy with a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in superhero sequel Wonder Woman 1984.
The 47-year-old British star — best known for The Office and Shaun of the Dead — played the secretary to Steve Trevor in the 2017 film, who became a friend to Gal Gadot’s hero.
Davis shared an image on Twitter, revealing she appearing wearing considerable old age makeup as an elderly Etta in a photograph with Gadot’s Diana Prince in the new movie.
The photo shows that Diana and Etta remained friends throughout the secretary’s life, after they met during World War I.
Did you catch the little photo of elderly Etta who remained friends with Diana all along ?? It was so good to say hi and catch up with everyone for just one day. Plus this photo will now be my online dating profile picture. #thatwillsealthedeal #ww84 #ettacandy pic.twitter.com/NGrEal0gjK

“It was so good to say hi and catch up with everyone for just one day,” Davis wrote in her caption for the photo.
She joked that she would now use the old age photo on her online dating profile.
Davis’s most recent role was in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, in which she plays Hilda Spellman, one of the witch aunts of the title character. Netflix canceled the series earlier this year.
Wonder Woman 1984 was released on HBO Max on Christmas Day.
