Drink mocktails and shop for a cause
The Downtown Newburgh Boutique Crawl will happen on Thursday, Oct. 5, from 5-8 p.m. in Downtown Newburgh. Flutter, Oak Modern, Willow Poppy, Jo+Co, Velvet Mod and The Barefoot Cottage will introduce their fall 2023 clothing collections with a specially created mocktail at each store. Tickets are $25 and attendees will receive 10% off clothing purchases and a copper mule mug to take home. Proceeds benefit Warrick County CASA.
Oktoberfest at Newburgh Tavern
The Knob Hill Tavern will begin serving its yearly Oktoberfest German specials menu on Monday, Oct. 2 and continue through the month. Look for dishes including bratwurst, knockwurst and braunschweiger sandwiches; sauerbraten with sweet and sour wine gravy; schweineschnitzel breaded pork cutlets with mushroom gravy; Oktoberfest pizza with corned beef, kraut, and Mozzarella; and much more.

Fiesta Evansville
Fiesta Evansville will happen on Sunday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at Wesselman Park. The yearly Latino festival is one of the region's largest with live entertainment, cultural exhibits and of course food booths from countries all over central and South America and the Latin Caribbean as well as Mexico. There is no entry fee.
Wesselman Park is at 551 N. Boeke Road.
Fall wine pairing dinner at Schymik's Kitchen
The Wine Vault and Schymik's Kitchen will be co-hosting a wine pairing dinner at Schymik's Kitchen on Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 4-6 p.m. On the menu are feta cheese mousse with pita points; octopus carpaccio with citrus vinaigrette, arugula and cherry tomatoes; bucatini al'Amatriciana pasta with pancetta, onion, tomato sauce and Pecorino Romano cheese; grilled hangar steak with green harissa sauce and marinated vegetables; and pumpkin pie bread pudding with caramel sauce and egg cream. Each course will be paired with a complementary wine. Tickets are $99 plus fees.

Fall Festival begins
The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival will run from Monday, Oct. 2 - Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Over 125 food booths will be selling apple pies, zucchini fries and everything in between. There's a brand-new Munchie Map this year, and four new food booths: Hoof Beats Therapeutic Riding with tea and coffee drinks; Newlife Rescue and Adoption with BBQ nachos, caramel apple cheesecake dip; the Hudson and Reed Foundation, with breakfast biscuit entrees and a Mexican egg burrito; and Grace of Christ Slavic Church Mission in Ukraine, with Pelmeni beef and chicken dumplings, chicken shish kebab with grilled vegetables, chebureki fried beef hand pies, jumbo torpedo smoked sausage, burgers, hot dogs, and French fries.
The West Side Fall Festival will take place on West Franklin Street between Wabash and St. Joseph Avenues.
