Evelyn Lozada To Become An “Abuelita” As Daughter, Shaniece, Announces Pregnancy
Evelyn Lozada is adding a new role to her résumé—”abuelita.”
The TV personality is set to become a grandma in the near future, per a double Father’s Day and birthday announcement where her daughter, Shaniece Hairston, revealed that she was expecting her first child.
“Happy birthday to my AMAZING daughter @shanieceh. You have always been my greatest blessing, and now you are bringing even more joy into our lives with your little one on the way,” wrote the Queen’s Court reality star. “Becoming a mom at 17 was a journey we took together, and seeing you embrace motherhood fills my heart with pride and love. I am so excited to become ‘ABUELITA’ and to share this beautiful journey with you. Love you more than words can express!!!! Me & your dad are ready for this new title!!! Let’s goooooo!”
Fans and friends of Lozada flooded her and Hairston’s comments on their respective posts with an onset of well wishes.
“OMG what!!!!!! Congratulations boo!!!!! How exciting!!!!!!,” Khloé Kardashian wrote. Nene Leakes replied, “Congratulations! Gonna be a beautiful baby.” Joie Chavis, who is currently expecting a baby girl, commented, “Congratulations!”
Speculation has also already begun in regards to who fathered Hairston’s child. Most recently, she was tied to The Game after the pair was spotted in Malibu this past December.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles-bred rapper spent Father’s Day with his children and wrote in his commemorative post, “Being a father is definitely what I’m best at.” Comments across the four posts on his Instagram were filled with congratulatory messages.
Neither party, however, has confirmed or denied if they’re expecting a child together.
