Even Travis Kelce is Still Perplexed That Taylor Swift Is Dating Him
On the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, Jason and Travis Kelce welcomed Philadelphia-born rapper Lil Dicky, otherwise known as Dave Burd, star of the FXX comedy Dave. But even Burd, who managed to score some pretty big names over the three seasons his shown ran, couldn't help gushing about the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's high profile relationship with pop star Taylor Swift.
The subject initially came up when Jason mentioned a comment Burd had made during a Thursday Night Football appearance, in which he remarked that if he were a woman, he would date Travis himself.
"It was very early with you and Taylor, I don't know if they were talking [or] if they like, cut to her, they were talking about just the idea of you and her and I was just like, I totally get it," the 36-year-old recalled, adding that if he were a woman, Travis is exactly who he'd pursue.
"First of all, he's the best of all time at his position, one, he's seemingly the nicest, sweetest, kind of funniest, most like classically cool guy in high school vibe," Burd continued.

Later, the rapper and comedian asked how the brothers were dealing with their newfound fame thanks to legions of "Swifties," most of whom only recently got into football due to Swift dating an NFL star.
While Jason admitted that not much has changed for him, Travis said: "It's fun, I'm having a blast in life baby. Just flying high. Bringing new lives to the football world."
"I think it’s the best thing ever. I love it," Burd gushed. "Honestly, my take on it—not that you want to spend time talking about it, for the five thousandth time—but I just think there's something that makes everyone feel like the world is kind of like high school, like you're the most popular pop star and beloved musician, somehow met you're like most popular beloved athlete and they actually fell in love, and it's just real."
He added that there was something just so "American" and "classic" about the relationship that it was difficult to hate on the couple.
"I don’t know how I did it because she was not into sports, so I don’t know how the f--k I did it," Travis quipped, to which Burd pointed out that it was because he called her out in a podcast episode last July. "I know exactly how I did it," he added with a laugh.
What can you say, never doubt the powers of manifestation.
