Everything to Know About 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars' Season 9 Including the Winner

You never have to wait long for a new season of RuPaul's Drag Race. While Season 16 may have just crowned Nymphia Wind as America's Next Drag Superstar, another batch of queens has entered the Werk Room. That's right! RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 9 has arrived to Paramount+.

As Mama Ru likes to do with All Stars, the format for Season 9 will be very different from previous seasons of the show. Not only will it be a non-elimination season like Season 7, but the queens won't be competing to take home $200,000. Rather, they'll each be competing for a charity with their winnings sent off to those in need.

Who won RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 9?

Angeria Paris VanMichaels

In a bit of an upset, Angeria managed to squeak by Roxxxy at the last second to snatch the crown. What is the twist of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 9?

So far, two new twists have been added to All Stars 9, but there will likely be more as the season progresses. First, All Stars 9 will be a non-elimination season like All Stars 7, where the queens will compete each week for points and losers won't be sent home. Second, the queens will be competing for charity, so their prize money will not go directly to them, but a charity of their choosing.

Episode 3 also added a twist in which the top two (Gottmik and Nina West) were given an additional Benefactress Badge to give to another queen. In Episode 9, the top two (Jorgeous and Shannel) also received extra badges to give away.

Two twist were announced in Episode 11. The first was that the winners of the final maxi challenge in Episode 12 would receive three benefactress badges instead of just one. The second is the Double Diamond, which the queens voted to give to one of their competing queens. The one with the most votes will double the amount of badges that they have after the Episode 12 talent show.
