Exclusive Blackwater Lane Images Preview Horror Movie With Dermot Mulroney, Minka Kelly
ComingSoon is exclusively debuting a handful of new Blackwater Lane images from the upcoming horror movie releasing later this month.
Blackwater Lane is a new horror thriller movie from Lionsgate that stars Dermot Mulroney (Anyone But You, Scream VI), Minka Kelly (500 Days of Summer, Friday Night Lights), and Maggie Grace (Taken, Lost). It follows a woman who is visited by some sort of ghostly presence, which then causes her to begin questioning her sanity. It’s out in select United States theaters on June 21, 2024, and will also be available on digital services and video on demand the same day.

What is Lionsgate’s Blackwater Lane horror movie about?
“Minka Kelly, Dermot Mulroney, and Maggie Grace star in Blackwater Lane, a supernatural thriller based on the wildly successful New York Times bestselling book by B.A. Paris. After witnessing a tragedy on a dangerous country road, Cass is visited by a ghostly presence and begins to question her sanity,” the official synopsis reads. “As these otherworldly experiences intensify, Cass is driven closer to the brink until she begins to assemble the pieces of a horrific plot against her.”
Blackwater Lane is directed by Jeff Celentano, who previously made 1998’s Gunshy, 2000’s Primary Suspect, 2004’s Moscow Heat, 2009’s Breaking Point, and 2023’s The Hill, among other titles.
The script was written by Elizabeth Fowler. Fowler also produces the movie alongside Shaun Sanghani, Lucinda Rhodes Thakrar, and Warren Ostergard. Alan Calton (Murder on the Orient Express, Austinland) and Natalie Simpson (Outlander, Les Miserables) also star with Mulroney, Kelly, and Grace.
