Creative Arts Emmy Experts: We predict this weekend’s winners

Will Claire Foy win her third Emmy for “The Crown”? Is RuPaul going to nine-peat? Gold Derby editors and Experts Christopher Rosen and Joyce Eng are here with their final Creative Arts Emmy predictions before this weekend’s ceremonies.

Foy has been the odds-on favorite in Best Drama Guest Actress this whole time, buoyed by her shocking win three years ago in the same category. But will she win again when “The Crown” isn’t going to pull off a historic seven-for-seven sweep at the main ceremony? Meanwhile, Maya Rudolph has climbed up the odds to third place in Best Comedy Guest Actress for “Saturday Night Live” since Kamala Harris entered the presidential race last month, but are Jamie Lee Curtis (“The Bear”) and Kaitlin Olson (“Hacks”) too much to overcome?

Rudolph could bag a sixth Emmy in the voice-over category for “Big Mouth,” an award she’s already won three times. A fourth would tie the category record with Hank Azaria, Dan Castellaneta and Seth MacFarlane. That’s nothing compared to eight-time reigning Best Reality Host champ RuPaul. But could Alan Cumming offer resistance for “The Traitors”?

Elsewhere, we discuss if Sandra Oh will finally win her Emmy for producing a TV movie, the incoming EGOT for Pasek and Paul and more.
