Family Star: Mrunal Thakur Teases ‘Different’ Role

Mrunal Thakur has become a leading lady not only in Bollywood but also in the South. The actress has several movies in her kitty. She was last seen in the romance drama Hi Nanna opposite Nani, which left the viewers in tears. While Mrunal has worked in several dramas, she is now all set to lead a family entertainer with Family Star. The actress recently spilled the beans about the movie and what it would offer.

Family Star will mark Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Deverakonda’s first project together. The movie seemingly follows the story of a married man who also has a different life. In its teaser, Deverakonda could be seen facing some goons. He also warns them not to take him for granted. Parasuram is directing the film.

During an interview with Pinkvilla, Mrunal Thakur revealed that the audience will see her in a new light in Family Star. She added that the movie will not be an emotional one but a fun ride. The Sita Ramam star said, “That’s fun, like all the people who hated me for making them cry on screen. Even in a previous interview, I was asked to send people a box of tissues cause I make them cry and Family Star is fun, it’s a combination of everything you want. The film is entertainment…entertainment…entertainment, it was full on. I had a great time shooting for it.”

Spilling more beans about the movie, Mrunal Thakur said, “The film has dancing, there are beautiful songs, there are beautiful scenes, there’s a graph of happy scenes and I mean there’s everything, there are emotions like obviously I want to do everything and I would like to shock and surprise my audience and it was fun to work with Parasuram sir.”

Concluding her statement, Mrunal promised that Family Star would be an entertaining film for everyone.
