Fans Come to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's Defense After 'Leak' About Their 'Staged' Relationship
Travis Kelce's legal team is fighting back against an allegedly "leaked" contract regarding his relationship with Taylor Swift.
A report in the Daily Mail revealed photos of a document that was supposedly created by Full Scope PR, the Los Angeles-based firm that represents Kelce (among other celebrities) and contained a public relations strategy for Kelce's breakup with Swift, which listed the planned date for the announcement of their split as September 28.
The paper also included a template for the breakup statement reading, "Example: Travis and Taylor have decided to part ways after careful consideration. They both value and respect each other's personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time."
Full Scope PR, however, denied having anything to do with the document, telling the Daily Mail that the paperwork was "entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency."
"We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents," said a Full Scope PR representative.
On social media, fans came to the famous couple's defense.
"It's ChatGTP format, it's clearly fake. The grammar for start is appalling," wrote one commenter on X.
"You’re not very intelligent if you believe this is real, especially since it also came from a Reddit page (already a red flag) that hates Travis and Taylor," agreed a second person.
"This is so stupid. What would either of these people get out of faking a relationship? Taylor Swift has been massively successful for the last decade," pointed out a third commenter.
Elsewhere, someone pointed out that the 'internet will always speculate.'
Some people thought the fake relationship narrative sounded plausible, however.
"I thought everyone knew," wrote one X user, with another commenter saying "Anyone with half a brain knew this was staged!!!!"
