Fans Declare Taylor Swift Is 'Dressing for Revenge' During NYC Date With Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift is giving "Style" a whole new meaning.
The music superstar has really been upping her fashion game as of late, putting a new edgy look on full display during a recent date night with beau Travis Kelce.
The two lovebirds were caught on camera as they stepped out in New York City on Friday, Sept. 6, and Swift, 34, appeared to be looking her best as she walked hand-in-hand with the Kansas City Chiefs player.
As seen in photo and video footage circulating all over social media, the "Fortnight" songstress dressed in an all-black 'fit for Friday night's outing, sporting a pair of black high-waisted shorts with a sheer top over a bandeau bra top. She also added an oversized blazer and knee-high leather boots to give the ensemble even more flair.
For his part, Kelce, 34, was dressed in pinstriped trousers, pairing them with a cutoff white crewneck, Nike sneakers and a black baseball cap. Even though the athlete drew some of the attention with his fashion-forward 'fit, it was Swift whose look became the talk of the town on social media after the outing.
"what a serve," one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote after seeing the "demure" look from Swift, while someone else chimed in to say, "she's so gorgeous."
"taylor keeps serving looks," another person added.
Someone else took to X to quip, "Lately she's been dressing for revenge," a reference to Swift's song from her Midnights album, "Vigilante S—t," in which she sings, "I don't dress for women; I don't dress for men. Lately I've been dressing for revenge."
Other Swifties thought the singer was giving "reputation vibes" with the all-black look.
