Fans react to Katy Perry's 'wildly uncomfortable' run-in with J.Lo — while changing into a cheeseburger dress

At some point during Monday’s Met Gala, Katy Perry transformed into a cheeseburger — and Jennifer Lopez didn’t bat an eye.

While Perry arrived at the camp-themed event dressed in a 40-pound chandelier dress, she later went even campier by changing into a lettuce dress with a burger — pickles, tomatoes and a sesame bun — over it. While slipping into the burger in the bathroom — while being captured on video by her stylist Jamie Mizrahi — J.Lo walked by completely unaffected by what what happening.

“We gotta go, Kitty,” Mizrahi is heard saying to Perry, who was looking for her phone. So the pop star — who’s no stranger to wearing food-themed ensembles —quickly climbed into the burger and struggled as she pulled it up.

Lopez walked by at that point — while Perry faced off with the burger — and without breaking her stride said, “Get that hamburger girl,” and rounded the corner.

Many people commenting on the clip found it “wildly uncomfortable to watch.”

People wondered if the two performers “hate each other.

Some thought the way J.Lo looked at Perry — or didn’t look at her — spoke volumes.

And there was more than one Mariah “I Don’t Know Her” Carey meme.

But it was pointed out that it didn’t seem “hostile.” After all — who wants to be filmed in the bathroom?

And, despite what this commenter thinks, was Lopez, in her fringe headpiece, supposed to stop and help her?

After all, her stylist could have, say, stopped recording and helped Perry herself.

Besides, Lopez made a funny quip as she went by — she didn’t blow by them and ignore them completely.

If Lopez was unimpressed, there were a ton of other celebrities who got a kick out of Flame Broiled Perry. Celine Dion, Jared Leto and Bella Hadid all took photos with the pop star.

And tons of celebs posted photos or video of Perry — in the Jeremy Scott for Moschino look — on social media, including Rita Ora and Hailee Steinfeld.
