Fans Slam Savannah Chrisley for Including Niece Chloe, 11, in Bold Political Statement
Savannah Chrisley is facing some backlash for her latest politically-charged social media post.
In a new video shared to Instagram on Tuesday, Oct. 8, the reality TV personality made a bold statement about the upcoming presidential election, and something about the post rubbed many users the wrong way.

In the video, which attempted to show how friends with different political beliefs can still get along, Chrisley danced around in a hat branded with Donald Trump's campaign slogan, Make America Great Again, while her longtime friend Tyler Chase Bishop sported some merch from the Kamala Harris and Tim Walz campaign.
But what raised a lot of eyebrows was Chrisley's choice to include her 11-year-old niece Chloe in the post, especially since the child was also sporting a bright red MAGA hat in the clip.
Chrisley, who was granted custody of her niece and her 17-year-old brother Grayson when her parents reported to prison last year, was criticized by many of her followers in the comments who found it inappropriate to include the child in such a bold political message.
"AND IN THIS HOUSE: We disagree, We Respect, and MOST IMPORTANTLY We LOVE ??????," Chrisley, 27, wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. "During this election season, let’s embrace the beauty of our differences. Love and understanding unite us, reminding us that every voice matters. Together, we can build a brighter future. But…for us and our house… we are @teamtrump and @behindtylerschair is clearly not ??."
But while Chrisley's post may have appeared to be presenting a positive message, many of her followers weren't buying it.
"It’s one thing for you to wear a Maga hat but don’t subject your niece to it! Let her make her own decision!" one person argued in the comments, while another user said, "Um yall could have left baby girl out of this! ??"
Another upset follower told Chrisley, "No you didn’t put that hat on that baby when she finally has the representation of someone that looks like her running for office. As a child, You could’ve left her out of this."
They added, "I wasn’t judging you on your political views before but this is irresponsible and a slap in the face."
Someone else seemingly agreed, writing in a different comment, "Using kids for political shit is pathetic."
"It’s time to unfollow," another user added, before noting that they are "wishing chloe the best though ??."
