Fantastic Feasts & Where to Eat Them: We Try Everything at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Two days is far too long to wait until the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is released, so SuperFan Movies took a trip to Universal Studios Hollywood to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. To really live like a wizard, one must eat like one, and since the theme park serves such a wide array of delicious treats, we decided we had better try one of everything — even if that means we’re ordering a meal intended for a family of four!
Our intrepid host Khail Anonymous dined upon fish and chips, bangers and mash, and the Great Feast Platter, which featured ribs, rotisserie chicken, corn on the cob, and vegetables, before switching over to sweets. The park just began serving up a new item, hot Butterbeer! For those that are fans of the four other varieties of Butterbeer — traditional, frozen, fudge, and potted cream — the hot Butterbeer is a new spin that will warm you up throughout the coming winter months.
What meal would be complete without dessert? No, five kinds of syrupy Butterbeer don’t count, so we served Khail a heaping helping of the sticky toffee pudding. As was everything that had come before, the pudding was likewise delectable.
Armed with a wand, Khail took the streets of Hogsmeade to see the sights and conjure up a little magic before the ensuing sugar crash sent him home for a nap with his favorite Harry Potter novel.
