Feist stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform “Love Who We Are Meant To,” a cut from her 2023 album Multitudes.
With just an acoustic guitar, Feist provides a gorgeous, spellbinding rendition of the song. As she plays, a booklet with the song’s lyrics scribbled in appears behind her on the screen, turning pages as Feist moves from verse to verse and connecting the audience to the song’s pure, homespun form. Watch the intimate performance below.
“Love Who We Are Meant To” arrived as Multitudes’ third single, released alongside “Hiding Out in the Open” and “In Lightning” when Feist announced the album last March. Multitudes was Feist’s first album since 2017’s Pleasure, and she supported the album with a brief North American tour in February and March of this year.
Meanwhile Feist is currently back on the road supporting Sarah McLachlan on her Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th anniversary tour, which continues through June. Get tickets to see Feist and Sarah McLachlan here.
