Fifth Harmony & ‘Teen Beach 2′ Cast to Present at Radio Disney Music Awards

The 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards will welcome a slew of starlets including the cast of Disney Channel’s original movie “Teen Beach 2,” and girl-band Fifth Harmony, Variety has learned.

Other presenters include Carly Rae Jepsen, Chelsea Kane (ABC Family’s “Baby Daddy”), pop trio Sweet Suspense, country singer Kelsea Ballerini and the cast of ABC’s hit comedy “Black-ish.”

The show, which airs on April 26, will be hosted by Disney star and recording artist Zendaya.

“On stage and off, Zendaya brings intelligence, thoughtfulness and honesty — and an effortless cool factor — to everything she does, all qualities that are appreciated by generations of kids and tweens, and especially their parents,” said Phil Guerini, vice president of programming and general manager, Radio Disney.

Zendaya commented, “We’re going to have a great show….Plus, I’m nominated again for artist with the best style so I better wear a good outfit!”

Also set to take the stage are performers Nick Jonas and Becky G, who performed at the 2014 RDMAs.

“I’m most looking forward to watching the performances,” said presenter Garrett Clayton, star of megahit “Teen Beach Movie” and the “Teen Beach 2″ sequel. “Last year Zendaya and Becky G were amazing.”

Clayton will be in attendance with his castmates Grace Phipps, Chrissie Fit and Jordan Fisher to represent the TV movie, which premieres this summer. As for the RDMA nominees, Fit and Fisher admit that they both voted for band R5, which is led by their “Teen Beach” costar Ross Lynch, who also toplines “Austin & Ally.”

Among the top nominees are Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, One Direction, Meghan Trainor and presenters Fifth Harmony, who also performed at last year’s show.

The Radio Disney Music Awards tape live April 25 at the Nokia Theater L.A. LIVE, and will air, as a 90-minute television special, April 26 on the Disney Channel. Den of Thieves’ Jesse Ignjatovic and Evan Prager will exec produce.
