First look at Oprah's Favorite Things 2023, from candles and cookies to luggage and luxury
It's officially time for the holidays: Oprah Winfrey is back with her annual Favorite Things list.
The media mogul and ultimate gift curator returns with her 2023 selections for the upcoming season of giving. This year's list has plenty of options at 112 items, slightly more than 2022's 104 items, with an emphasis on "The Color Purple" – both the hue and her upcoming movie revamp.
"This year lots of the terrific gifts come from small business owners – from family shops, best friends, dynamic duos, and local makers – so you're not only discovering great gifts, but you are also supporting the people who stepped out on a dream to make them," Winfrey says in an exclusive statement to USA TODAY. (All of the items were selected prior to the SAG-AFTRA strike.)

Prices range from around $13 to a little less than $1,000, with almost 50 gifts under $50. Items such as the book "How to Be More Tree" for $14 or Hoop Mobb's Melanated Hoop Earrings for $16 clock in at a lower price point, while a luxe pizza oven at the other end of the spectrum costs $999. The full list will be featured in the winter issue of O, Quarterly magazine (on newsstands Nov. 7) and on OprahDaily.com and Amazon.
