Florence Welch Embraces Romantic Details in Custom Del Core Dress, Joins Taylor Swift in Vivienne Westwood Corset Dress During ‘The Eras’ Tour Performance in London
Taylor Swift fans received a surprise when the “The Tortured Poets Department” singer welcomed Florence Welch onstage at Wembley Stadium in London for a special performance on Tuesday’s concert of “The Eras” tour. The pair performed a rendition of their duet “Florida!!!” from Swift’s latest album.
Welch’s wardrobe perfectly complemented Swift’s, opting for a black-and-white flowing dress that mimicked the aesthetic of Swift’s “Tortured Poets Department” era. The custom Del Core dress featured a flowing silhouette with romantic details, including lace trimmings.

Welch paired the dress with a dark choker and opted to go barefoot onstage. The color palette of the “Cosmic Love” singer’s custom dress served as the ideal aesthetic accompaniment to Swift’s custom gown.
The 14-time Grammy Award winner wore a Vivienne Westwood dress with a corseted, sleeveless bodice and voluminous skirt with a high-low silhouette. The skirt of the dress also featured Swift’s lyrics embossed in black writing.
Swift’s “The Eras” tour has featured an array of designer looks from Zuhair Murad to Versace, Roberto Cavalli and more. Many of the wardrobe pieces serve to evoke an “era” of Swift’s career and her various albums.
Welch, who rose to prominence with her 2009 album “Lungs,” told WWD in February 2016 how much her style has evolved. Welch has been a longtime admirer of Valentino creative director Alessandro Michele and her 2011 tour featured costuming courtesy of Gucci.
“You get so scared as you start getting famous that you almost use outfits as a way to hide,” Welch told WWD in 2016. “Now I’m getting older and more comfortable with myself. The stage and personal stuff is becoming more intertwined, which is quite liberating.”
