Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl Makes Shocking Family Confession Fans Call 'So Disappointing'
Dave Grohl has sent his fans into a tailspin over a shocking confession regarding his longtime marriage to wife Jordyn Blum.
In a candid confession posted to social media on Tuesday, Sept. 10, the Foo Fighters member revealed that he was unfaithful to Blum, and that he fathered a child with another woman.
"I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage," Grohl, 55, wrote in the blunt update on Instagram, while insisting, "I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her."
But the rocker, who is already a parent to three children with Blum, 48, also said he has some work to do in making the situation right with his family.
"I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness," he continued in the post. "We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."
Grohl did not share any further details regarding his new child, nor did he provide the name of the newborn's mother.
After hearing the news, fans online were quick to express their disappointment in the musician, who is already a dad to daughters Violet, 18, Harper, 15 and Ophelia, 10.
"I can't even imagine how his daughters feel right now let alone his wife," one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), while someone else said they "have never felt a deeper parasocial betrayal than dave grohl cheating on his wife."
"So disappointing..." another upset fan added.
One user said that Grohl stepping out on his wife was "not on my bingo card," while someone else declared they would "need 3-5 business days to recover" from the shocking news.

Grohl's wife has not yet issued a public response to the situation, while users on X claim his daughters have seemingly deactivated their social media accounts.
