Frankie Beverly Announces Farewell Tour

Frankie Beverly is retiring and has unveiled the dates for his I Wanna Thank You Farewell Tour.

The five-city run kicks off in Atlanta on March 22 with El DeBarge and Chaka Khan as the featured guests. It hasn’t been confirmed if they will continue to join Beverly and crew in other cities.

The tour will stop in Alabama, Chicago, and Houston before its final stop in Los Angeles on May 12.

Afterward, Beverly will make his way to Philadelphia for a street renaming ceremony, where he and his group—originally called Raw Soul—launched their trailblazing career.

The AMEX presale goes live on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. ET and will conclude on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The Promoter, venue and local presales will be available on Thursday, Feb. 15 from 10 a.m. ET through 11:59 p.m. ET via the code BPC. Tickets for the general public go live the following day at 10 a.m. ET. You can also find tickets on Seatgeek and Vivid Seats.

Beverly will be passing the baton to lead vocalist Tony Lindsay, who will continue to tour with the band as Maze Honoring Frankie Beverly.

The 77-year-old was recognized by Urban One with the Living Legend Honor at the 2024 ceremony.

“From soulful ballads to timeless contributions and contemporary brilliance, [the honorees] have not only shaped the musical landscape but have also contributed significantly to the cultural fabric of our society. Each honoree represents a unique chapter in the story of music,” said Michelle Rice, President of TV One and CLEO TV, in a statement.
