Frozen 2 star Idina Menzel reveals which Disney character she got on viral Instagram filter (it's not Elsa)
We’ll always know Idina Menzel as Elsa from Frozen, but it turns out her animated alter ego is another iconic Disney character.
EW asked Menzel and other stars on the Golden Globes red carpet to try out a popular Instagram filter that matches social media users with a Disney character.
Despite voicing Elsa in the Frozen movies, Menzel was paired with Flounder from The Little Mermaid.
“It never ends up Elsa,” she said on the carpet ahead of the ceremony.
And while Andrew Scott is known for playing the Hot Priest on Fleabag, he was matched with Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
The Farewell director Lulu Wang got John Smith from Pocahontas, and Jojo Rabbit director Taika Waititi was excited to be paired with Scar from The Lion King, proclaiming, “Yes!”
1917 and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood took home the top honors during Sunday’s awards show, with Quentin Tarantino’s film nabbing three awards.
