The Game Clears Up Karrueche Tran Dating Rumors: “K Is A Fire Person, The Homie”
Internet users speculated that The Game and Karrueche Tran were dating after the former changed his Instagram profile picture to a photo of the latter. However, the 44-year-old rapper put those rumors to bed and confirmed that he was not dating the actress.
The Shade Room, as per usual, was quick to notice the Compton rapper’s new profile picture and sent the internet into a frenzy by making a post about it. Game entered their comments and set the record straight. “That picture dope. & K is a fire person n the homie,” he wrote. “Gone bout yall day. Yall gone be alright.” To avoid further confusion, he changed his profile picture to an illustration of the late Kobe Bryant.
Before the “How We Do” rapper cleared things up, fans ran wild with the idea they were an item. “Karrueche is putting up Badu type numbers when it comes to having dudes sprung [crying face emojis],” one user wrote. “Let me find out the game make your hair stand up on your head like that yes I want it [crying face emojis],” another user wrote.
This would have been quite the curveball if true, as earlier this month The Game announced he was having his fourth child. In Touch reported that the mother is his current girlfriend Shaniece Hairston, the daughter of Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada.
However, the Paisley Dreams rapper pursuing Karrueche Tran wouldn’t have been completely random or unexpected. In 2016, he poked fun at her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on the song “All Eyez,” rapping “You want me to say your name, huh? Karrueche!” He had been feuding with Breezy at the time, and given his previous antics, pursuing the former partner of a former rival wouldn’t have been out of the ordinary.
The Game is looking forward to adding a new child to his family and being an older father, citing JAY-Z and Mariah Carey as his inspirations. “I don’t know how old Mariah Carey is, but she has to be, like, 10 years older than me. Or JAY-Z or somebody like that,” he said on the Tacos & Shawarma podcast. “Their next big birthday is probably 60. They’re still out here looking young and looking cool, so it ain’t that bad. But at the end of the day […] I made it, my kids are all fine, smart, straight A students, so it’ll just be interesting to parent at this age.”
