Gatlins to honor past fine arts directors

May 30—The Grammy Award-winning Gatlin Brothers will host a short ceremony honoring three past fine arts directors who made an impact throughout their education careers at 5 p.m. May 31 at the Odessa High School Performing Arts Center.
The Gatlins will honor Choir Director Maurice Alfred Wash, Band Director Bill Dean, and Choir Director Suzanne Medlen.
Rudy Gatlin will offer a brief bio of each, then will sing the OHS school song and fight song before dismissing. Commemorative posters will be placed in the OHS Performing Arts Center alongside that of the Gatlin Brothers to remember and honor these dedicated music educators.
