Secrets and Surprises

This week in Port Charles, Chase (Josh Swickard) is onto Finn (Michael Easton). The doctor thinks he’s hiding his drinking from the world. Little does he know Chase witnessed him downing shot after shot. On top of this madness, Jake (Hudson West) spotted him at that dive bar, where he was “walking by with his friends.” Finn continues to bury his feelings in drink, especially since his relationship with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) blows up and triggers a mountain of self-blame.

Needless to say, Finn’s bro switches into emergency mode and starts alerting Finn’s people. He already has Brook Lynn (Amanda SettonI) on his side. In the weekly promo, he attempts to bring Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) into the inner circle of support.

The intensity of the drama continues with Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ (Tajh Bellow). Molly finally includes her domestic partner in on what she’s known for a bit. Clearly, she tells him what Kristina (Kate Mansi) witnessed at the wedding reception. But she also tells him she’s been keeping this news from him. So when he finds out about everything, how will TJ react? According to the forecast, the outlook isn’t good…he’s outraged. What’s going to anger him more? About the secret? Or the fact that Molly kept it from him? All of the above?

Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) can’t handle the fact that he and Kristina are estranged. So he shows up at Kristina’s with a bag (or bags). Does he plan to smooth things over with a little retail bribery? More importantly, will it work?

Apparently, the show is rolling out secrets and surprises this week. What has Diane (Carolyn Hennesy — who’s celebrating a birthday) so shocked? Furthermore, who visits Heather (Alley Mills) at Pentonville? It sure sounds like Curtis (Donnell Turner), who understandably has issues with Heather’s supposed redemption arc. What does Curtis have to say to the prisoner?
