George Clooney’s Surprise Move Shows He May Be Serious About Starting a New Life
While George Clooney was seemingly always going to be a Hollywood man, that’s all changed this year. In case you need a refresher, George and his wife Amal Clooney bought an $8 million, 18th-century property in Domaine du Canadel, France, which became their primary residence. However, the pair have quite a few homes around the world, but now they’re seemingly selling them off.
In details obtained by TMZ, George has allegedly sold off his Studio City’s Fryman Canyon home for around $15 million. The six-bedroom home had numerous guests houses, a tennis court, and a pool where he entertained famous pals frequently.

However, he just sold it off, making it clear that his primary residence really is France, where he and his family of four are thriving.
As of 2024, per House Beautiful, George seemingly still owns his 25-room Italian home (which he’s had since 2002), a $13 million island home, and a nearly $15 million New York condo.
For those that don’t know, George and Amal Alamuddin, a prominent human rights lawyer, met back in 2013 through a mutual friend, and by the following year, they got married on Sept 27, 2014 in Venice!
The pair later welcomed twins on June 6, 2017, named Ella and Alexander, 7. The family of four also has a Bassett Hound and a St. Bernard puppy George gifted to Amal.
