George Strait joins Chris Stapleton on 2025 co-headlining tour. Are they coming to Texas?

Texas country star George Strait recently announced that he'll be hitting the road for a short five-concert tour run with Chris Stapleton as co-headliner. The "All My Exes Live in Texas" singer won’t be seeing his exes, as Texas is not included in the tour stop lineup. However, he will perform in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh in May, as well as in Buffalo, New York, Foxborough, Massachusetts, in June, and Los Angeles in July.

“I keep trying to slow down a bit but you keep calling me back,” Strait said in a press release. “I can’t wait to see you for a few more again this year.”

This tour comes after Strait released his 31st studio album "Cowboys and Dreamers" in Sep. 2024. The Potent, Texas-born crooner, who is the only act in history to have a top 10 hit every year for the last three decades, frequently tours with Stapleton and Little Big Town.

Strait and Stapleton will be joined on tour by Parker McCollum, who will be opening up four of their five co-headlining shows. Little Big Town will be opening the show for the pair's final tour date together in Los Angeles on July 19.
