Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage: See First Photos From Young Sheldon Spinoff, Get Premiere Spoilers
We’re getting our first look at the highly anticipated Young Sheldon spinoff, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
CBS on Monday released more than half a dozen photos from the offshoot’s debut, along with a synopsis for the series premiere. In Episode 1, titled “The 6:10 to Lubbock,” the titular couple (played by Montana Jordan and Emily Osment) get fed up staying with Mandy’s parents and reconsider their living situation after a fight with Audrey (Rachel Bay Jones).

In addition to Jordan, Osment and Jones, who reprise their Young Sheldon roles, the Georgie & Mandy cast features fellow Sheldon grad Will Sasso, who plays Jim. New additions include Dougie Baldwin (Disjointed) as Mandy’s brother Connor, and Jessie Prez (Griselda) as tire store employee Ruben.
Photos below also show very special guest star Annie Potts, who will appear in the pilot as Meemaw. Additionally, Zoe Perry will make an appearance in Episode 1 as newly widowed Mary, while Raegan Revord will pop up as Georgie’s sister Missy in Episode 2.
Everything We Know About Young Sheldon Spinoff Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage follows the titular couple “as they raise their young family in Texas while navigating the challenges of adulthood, parenting and marriage,” according to the official logline. The title is a play on previously established Big Bang Theory lore: In the hit sitcom’s 2019 series finale, Nobel Prize winner Sheldon said he received congratulatory texts from Georgie’s ex-wife… and Georgie’s other ex-wife.
During a previous interview with TVLine, Osment expressed hope that the spinoff would find a way to undo (or at the very least tinker with) Georgie’s marital history.
“I’m hoping that I’m the ex-wife and the new wife,” she said. “People get divorced and remarried. Why can’t she be both?”
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage premieres Thursday, Oct. 17 at 8/7c on CBS, and will stream on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). A trailer has not yet been released, but will be added here once it is made available.
