Nine-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile, whose latest album, “In These Silent Days” collected three Grammys, will perform at 7:30 p.m. on June 29 at Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center.

What sort of weather can concert goers expect? While temperatures will be seasonable, there’s a good chance some showers and thunderstorms could pass through the area during the evening hours.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo forecast for Canandaigua on Saturday calls for a daily high near 80 degrees, with rain showers likely and possible thunderstorms expected throughout the day and into the evening. There’s a roughly 70% precipitation potential during the hours leading up to and during the concert, though lower than earlier in the day.

The AccuWeather hourly forecast for Canandaigua on June 29 predicts temperatures to be in the mid 70s with cloudy skies when the gates open at 6 p.m. Conditions are expected to be cloudy and humid into the evening, with a couple showers and a thunderstorm earlier in the evening. Precipitation is expected to be less than a tenth of an inch.

CMAC concert venue in New York: What to know

Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center is the official name of the Canandaigua area's outdoor concert venue, but it is known more commonly as CMAC. The venue is on the Finger Lakes Community College campus, 3355 Marvin Sands Drive.
