'Grown up and gorgeous!': Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter, Apple, sports pink hair and lips in new photo of the rarely seen 14-year-old

Gwyneth Paltrow‘s daughter is truly the Apple of her eye.

The actress and entrepreneur marked #NationalDaughtersDay on Wednesday with a rare glimpse of 14-year-old Apple, who looks all grown up with pink hair and lipstick as well as some eye makeup. In the tribute, Paltrow wrote that it’s like she “conjured” the teen, whose father is Paltrow’s ex-husband, Chris Martin, “from a dream,” adding: “You make my life.”

The reactions to the photo and caption are mostly positive — a rarity on the internet these days — with people noting that Apple is “grown up and gorgeous” and the “perfect combination of her ‘rents.” Fans also liked seeing the ladies side by side. “A pair of beautiful women,” wrote one commenter. Another put: “Beauty for days.”

The post made Paltrow pal Kate Hudson, who is expecting her first daughter, tear up — or at least use the cry emoji. (“My oh my,” wrote the Almost Famous star.) And actress Emma Roberts gave it a pink heart.

In a 2016 interview, Paltrow talked about her daughter being into makeup. The star is an investor and collaborator with Juice Beauty and said her daughter requested a “lip kit that stays on all day long.” According to this photo, Apple seems to have found it.

Last year, when Paltrow came forward to accuse disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment, she said Apple was the impetus for her decision. “It’s my hope that this is the beginning of something important and different and that my daughter, when she goes into the workplace, won’t experience what you, presumably you, and I and millions of other women have had to endure,” Paltrow told the New York Times in November. “And so it feels important, and I’m happy that I have played a small part in it.”

Paltrow, who is engaged to TV producer Brad Falchuk, remains close with her Coldplay frontman ex, rather famously saying they share a brother-sister relationship. When she was recently profiled in the NYT for her lifestyle company Goop, Martin breezed in and out of Paltrow’s home during the interview to practice musical instruments with the kids while Paltrow cooked dinner for Falchuk.
