Grupo Firme, Ramon Ayala and Chayanne among 5 concerts to see in El Paso

Ramon Ayala, a favorite on the Borderland, will be coming in concert later this year. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 22.

But if you haven't been keen on the concerts coming to El Paso, you might have missed these five concerts to get excited about.

On the country music scene, Tanya Tucker, known for hits like "Love Me Like You Used To," will come to the Plaza Theatre.

Some other popular Latin acts coming later this year include Chayanne and Grupo Firme, who recently released some new music and collaborations with other artists.

Here are the details for these five must-watch concerts.

Country legend Tanya Tucker will bring her Sweet Western Sound Tour to the Sun City. Tucker will perform Thursday, May 16, at the Plaza Theatre. The show will start at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40 to 130, plus fees, available at Ticketmaster.com and the Plaza Theatre Box Office.

Grupo Firme to come to Don Haskins Center

Grupo Firme will bring its La Ultima Peda Tour to El Paso Saturday, Aug. 17, to the Don Haskins Center. The show will be at 8 p.m.

The regional Mexican band based in Tijuana, Baja California, kicks off its tour Monday, April 29, in Mexico before heading to the United States. The band has collaborated with numerous artists of various genres, including pop, reggaeton and regional music. They have performed with Alejandro Fernandez, Reik, and Banda El Recodo.

Tickets, ranging from $62 to $392, plus fees, are available at Ticketmaster.com.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony returning to El Paso

Ramon Ayala to perform at Coliseum

Ramon Ayala, one of the best-selling Norte?o musicians, will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at the El Paso County Coliseum. He is on his El Principio De Un Final Tour.

Ayala, called "the King of the Accordion," has played for more than 40 years and has won four Grammy Awards. His hits include "Un Rinconcito en el Cielo," "Tragos Amargos" and "El Numero Cien."

Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday, March 22, via Ticketmaster.com. Presale starts Thursday, March 21.

Chayanne returns to El Paso

The charming Puerto Rican singer Chayanne returns to the Sun City with his Bailemos Otra Vez Tour concert Friday, Oct. 11, at the Don Haskins Center. The show will start at 8 p.m.

Tickets, ranging from $71 to $201, plus fees, are available at Ticketmaster.com.
