How were the young Rocket scenes filmed in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?
The new Guardians of the Galaxy 3 set photos from Gunn come from the director answering a fan’s question. When asked if the voice actors who played Rocket Raccoon’s friends also did the motion capture, he revealed they did. He then shared several photos of actors Linda Cardellini (Lylla), Asim Chaudhry (Teefs), and Mikaela Hoover (Floor), as well as Sean Gunn, who played the role of Young Rocket in the film.
Yes. Motion capture & voice actors the same, although Bradley’s voice takes over for Sean in adolescence. This is from the first day of shooting! #GotGVol3 #LyllaRocketTeefsFloor https://t.co/6RGp6vlf1x pic.twitter.com/6EEaZ7ubVb
