Halle Berry Pairs Lacy Sheer Dress With Pinstripe Blazer & Sharp Louboutin Pumps for NYC Date Night With Boyfriend Van Hunt
Halle Berry braved the chill in New York City as she stepped out for a date with partner Van Hunt on Tuesday night.
Spotted sans coat despite the low temperatures, the Oscar-winning actress sported a black pinstripe blazer over a sheer black dress featuring floral black lace detailing. While the sultry slip dress hit just below her knees, the double-breasted blazer covered her hips and upper thighs. She accessorized her business-meets-pleasure look with gold hoop earrings and a striking gold chain necklace that dropped down to rest in her décolletage.

The “Perfect Stranger” star reached for Christian Louboutin’s iconic So Kate pumps for the romantic outing. Opting for a glossy patent leather version, the sharp stilettos effortlessly complemented her monochromatic ensemble.
Louboutin’s So Kate is considered the brand’s best-selling silhouette to date. Named for ’90s supermodel Kate Moss, Christian Louboutin first launched the Kate over a decade ago, with the So Kate coming a year later. The stiletto heels come in multiple height options and a wide range of colors and finishes for just about every taste.
“The Kate is a sharp style, simple and very complex at the same time,” Louboutin has said of the ever-popular shoe. “If the line is not very perfect, you do not have any embellishment to hide it. It sounded so much like Kate Moss, simple yet very sophisticated. I felt this pump just had to be named after her, because it was so Kate.”
As for Hunt, the multi-talented artist looked cozy in a blue plaid zip-up hoodie and matching trousers with baggy legs. The singer-songwriter styled the set with black leather boots featuring seams down the middle.
Earlier in the day, Berry sat down with the “Today” show’s Jenna Bush Hager and guest co-host Justin Sylvester to promote her menopause initiative, Respin. She also talked about finding her person in Hunt later in life. “I spiritually called him. I manifested him. I knew that if the right person didn’t show up for me, I’d be better off going it alone,” she shared.
