Halsey Seemingly Confirms Major Relationship News
Congratulations may be in order for Halsey and Avan Jogia, as the 29-year-old singer and 32-year-old actor are seemingly engaged to be married.
People seem to think the “Lucky” singer confirmed the news when she recently set the record straight after correcting a post via X that described Jogia as her “boyfriend” on Thursday, Sept. 12.
Halsey re-shared a post from Pop Base that read, “Halsey says she hopes to marry boyfriend Avan Jogia,” adding to it, “***fiancé Avan Jogia.”

At the MTV VMAs on Wednesday, Sept. 11, the singer spoke to E! News on the red carpet about potentially marrying Jogia, responding, "I hope so," when asked if she and her beau plan to wed.
“Avan is the best,” Halsey gushed of the former Nickelodeon star. “He’s one of the greatest things that ever happened to me. And every single day that I get to spend with him is one where I just feel like I’m with my best friend.”

Fans learned of the couple's romance in Oct. 2023 when Halsey, who uses "she/they" pronouns, posted pictures from their appearance at LA Fashion Week on Instagram. Rumors of a potential engagement began to fly after the pair was photographed having a PDA-filled picnic in New York City, as Page Six reported.
During the outing, the Grammy nominee wore a "massive" ring with a large green gem on her left hand, and enjoyed bread, cheese, and wine with Victorious alum Jogia.
Several months before getting together with Jogia, Halsey broke things off with Alev Aydin. The former couple were together for over four years and share a son, 3-year-old Ender Ridley. According to a source, their split was "amicable" and they are co-parenting their little boy.
As Parade previously reported, Halsey has been suffering from multiple illnesses for several years. In 2022, she was diagnosed with Lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder, a struggle she wrote about in the ballad "The End." At the time, Halsey thanked fans on Instagram for their support.
