What happened at the end of SEAL Team in Season 6?
Bravo Team once again proved they are truly a band of brothers when their exfil plan was downed by a rocket and they were stranded, But Jason, Ray, Jay, Omar, Sonny and Trent came up with a Plan B and they finally made it safely out.
As a result, though, they missed Clay’s funeral, so they all met at his headstone, where Ray filled in everyone on the circumstances surrounding Clay’s untimely death at the veteran’s center, which at the end of the show was named after him.
Then there was a gathering at Bulkhead, which included Clay’s father Ash, who gave Jason a hard time about being presented with a medal for saving Clay’s life in Mali, for him to lose it back in the U.S. Jason agrees with Ash. (Thomas Howell).
The next day was Jason’s Navy Cross ceremony. Clay’s wife Stella (Alona Tal) reassured Jason that she was fine with him being awarded the medal. If he hadn’t saved Clay’s life in Mali, they would have had even less time together.
But Jason took the opportunity to come clean about his health – his TBI, which led to him being summoned to a meeting where he was told he was done. But that’s when Sonny and Ray many more Navy SEALs arrived to share their own ailments.
What is the status of the SEAL Team movie?
Boreanaz told Variety a movie version is still a possibility even though the series got picked up for its seventh season, which seemed to put the kibosh on it according to Paramount executives.
“As far as the film is concerned, I still feel as though a film can be easily achievable over some time,” Boreanaz said. “Given how we shoot the show, and the locations and being fortunate to go to certain places around the world, and take the show, and tell these stories, and these guys’ drive, [this story] can be picked up at any time. So, without giving away any kind of end to the evolution of the series and where it is, it’s something that is open ended and I wouldn’t say dead.”
