On July 12, Amazon kicked off its second-annual , a Black-Friday-in-July-type day of sales for people who have Amazon Prime memberships.
Amazon Prime is a program the site offers that gives shoppers unlimited two-day shipping and access to Amazon Video instant streaming services for $99 a year. Now, Prime members have the added benefit of enjoying July 12 savings a.k.a. spending hundreds of dollars on high-tech items they may not need (think Segways and Roombas).
