Happy 7th anniversary to Atlanta trap legend Gucci Mane and wife, entrepreneur Keyshia Ka’Oir, as the couple wed on October 17, 2017. The date carries significance not only due to it being the day the pair exchanged vows, but because 1017 was the home address of Gucci’s grandfather’s Alabama residence growing up. It’s also the reason he blessed his record label with the same numerical moniker.
The couple documented their journey to the alter on BET reality series Gucci Mane & Keyshia Ka’oir: The Mane Event, with several A-listers and Hip-Hop royalty attending in support of the lavish couple. Sean “Diddy” Combs, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Big Sean & Jhené Aiko, Monica, and Trina (who was also a bridesmaid) are just a few of the guests who showed up at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami for the all-white affair.
Since, the couple have remained one of the most consistent in Hip-Hop, with fans hearing very little of marital strife between the pair. One reason they’ve survived is due to their undeniable compatibility, as they both have prioritized finances and fashion throughout their time together. The latter has found the couple rocking matching looks over the years, often hitting red carpets and basketball games in color coordinated styles that signals their connection from across the room.
