'Harry Potter' star Matthew Lewis makes plea for lost love letter from his wife that was in stolen wallet
Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter movies, beginning as a kid in 2001’s Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, is all grown up. The British actor, now 29, turned to Twitter yesterday for help in finding a lost wallet.
In a plea for help, Lewis asked not for the money or the cards — in fact, he said whoever took or found the wallet could have “the lot” — but for a love letter written to him by Angela Jones, his wife since last year, that he carries with him wherever he goes.
Yo, if you stole my wallet in East London yesterday or even if you just found it: it’s yours, keep it, have the money, the cards, the lot. But the note from my wife engraved on a piece of metal, if you can post that to the address on the driving licence I’d call it evens. Please?

Lewis and Jones reportedly began dating in late 2016 after meeting at a Wizarding World of Harry Potter event at the Universal Orlando Resort in Florida, where she was an event planner. The couple married in May 2018.
Potterheads were quick to applaud Lewis’s sweet request, and many of them said they would spread it on their own social media accounts.

Some suggestions, such as “use a magic spell to find it,” were less helpful.
