“Heartstopper” Season 3 Trailer Brings All the Feels — Jonathan Bailey, Included!

The highly-anticipated third season of the Netflix series premieres Oct. 3

Get ready to feel all the feels!

The official trailer for season 3 of Heartstopper is finally here, and Charlie and Nick's love story is only getting sweeter.

Life is getting complicated — and scarier — for the group as they enter a new school year and the pressure of college is looming. As Nick (Kit Connor) puts it after Tara (Corrina Brown) lays things out in the trailer: "It's all just a lot."

On top of the pressures of school, Nick is "really worried" about Charlie (Joe Locke), who he says has been "really stressed" and therefore, his eating disorder behaviors — which Charlie confided in Nick about at the end of season 2 — are worsening.

Tori (Jenny Walser) notices it too, and tells Charlie: "I worry about you all the time."

In an emotional moment at school, Charlie confides in Nick about his mental health struggles, as he tells him, "I hate feeling like this."

"I don't know what to do now," Nick then admits to his mom, Diane (Hayley Atwell), about his relationship. "I really love him."

"Sometimes, people need more support than one person can give," Diane tells him. "You can be there for him, standing together, even when it's hard. That's love, darling."

Though Nick and Charlie are facing some challenges, things between them are heating up — and the same can be said for Elle (Yasmin Finney) and Tao (William Gao). In the trailer, the friends-to-lovers pair share an intimate moment before Elle admits her "dysphoria" hit her.

Intimacy seems to be on all the characters' minds, as Nick's therapist (Eddie Marsan) tells him, "Intimacy is trusting someone enough to let go of some control." Nick later admits to Isaac (Tobie Donovan), "I don't even know what the hell I'm doing," seemingly referring to his progressing relationship with Charlie.

"It's a good thing we're in sex ed right now, I mean maybe you'll get some good advice," Isaac suggests, before their teacher puts a handful of condoms and cucumbers down on the desk in front of them. "Or, maybe not."

The trailer concludes with a first-look at Jonathan Bailey's new character, Jack Maddox.

Nick and Charlie attend a book signing for the "Instagram-famous classicist," who happens to be Charlie's biggest celebrity crush, and when Jack asks, "What can I do for you?" Charlie is totally at a loss for words.

"Yeah, he's really hot," Charlie tells a laughing Nick after the slightly awkward meet and greet.

At the core of the season, though, are the same unsaid things that were on Nick and Charlie's minds at the end of season 2.

"Charlie would like to tell Nick that he loves him. Nick also has something important to say to Charlie," per the official synopsis.

"As the summer holiday ends and the months race on, the friends begin to realise that the school year will come with both its joys and its challenges. As they learn more about each other and their relationships, plan social events and parties and start thinking about university choices, everyone must learn to lean on those they love when life doesn't go to plan."
