Heather Morris Honors Naya Rivera 4 Years After 'Glee' Star's Tragic Death: 'Miss You Nay Nay'

Gone, but never forgotten. Naya Rivera’s “Glee” family is honoring her memory on a bittersweet milestone.

Heather Morris, who co-starred with Naya on the hit series, paid tribute to the late actress in an emotional Instagram post July 8, marking four years since her tragic passing.

“I can’t believe it’s been 4 years..boy how time flies. Yet every year I’m taken by surprise how much it still hurts,” she wrote, captioning a candid black-and-white photo of her and Naya cuddled together.

Heather, 37, reflected on the special bond she and Naya formed during their time together on “Glee” and how her spirit remains an important force in her life.

“We grow up together, fell apart, and came back together in such a beautiful way. God you’re missed so much…except I can’t shake the feeling you never left…you’re still here with us..guiding us to our highest potential. I miss you Nay Nay,” she added.

Naya died in 2020 after a boating accident in California’s Lake Piru with her then 4-year-old son, Josey. Police later said in a press conference that they believed the performer had used all her strength to get Josey to safety before she drowned.
