Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious project, Heeramandi, has taken the country by storm. The web series is being highly discussed among viewers. Despite the mixed reviews, many stars from the film industry have been heaping praises on it. Recently, Tamil actor Siddharth reviewed the Netflix web series, which also stars his fiancee, Aditi Rao Hydari.

Heeramandi boasts a huge star cast featuring actors from different generations. Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Farida Jalal, Indresh Malik, Shekhar Suman, Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, and Adhyayan Suman have played key roles in the show. The show was the most anticipated one of 2024. It was in production for years before the final cut.

Siddharth calls Heeramandi a ‘work of art’

After dating for a few years, Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari got engaged over a month ago. The couple broke the internet with their special announcement as their wedding rumors were rife.

Now, as his fiancee has starred in the awaited web series Heeramandi, the Chittha actor praised it. Taking to his Instagram stories, he shared Aditi Rao Hydari’s still from the show. He then wrote, “Acting Music Aesthetic Drama. Grateful that we are living in The Age of Sanjay Leela Bhansali Saab.”

The actor added, “A letter of Love and Freedom Told in the confines of a bygone age with images that mesmerize the heart. Music and verse that stir the soul. A work of art that would make K Asif Saab proud. Love and Congratulations to the whole team.”

Meanwhile, the official synopsis of the web series reads, “The scheming Mallikajaan rules over an elite house of courtesans — but a new rival threatens her reign as rebellion brews in British-ruled India.”

Heeramandi is currently streaming on Netflix.
