Here's the last airline safety video we'll ever need, courtesy of 'The Lego Movie'
We still have to wait a few more months before The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part arrives in theaters, bringing back Emmet (Chris Pratt), Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks), and the rest of their toy crew to the big screen. In the meantime, they’ve put their downtime to good use — by informing travelers about airline safety regulations.
Yes, you read that correctly — the entire Lego Movie gang has made an honest-to-goodness safety video for Turkish Airlines, replete with detailed guidelines, handy instructions, and quite a bit of Batman (Will Arnett) trying to use approved electronic devices at not-approved times. Far from being your typical cut-and-dried educational clip, the promo is highly amusing, and filled with cameos — including The Lego Batman Movie’s Dark Knight (Will Arnett), Robin (Michael Cena), and Joker (Zach Galifianakis), as well as The Lego Ninjago Movie’s Lloyd Garmadon (Dave Franco). And let’s not forget about some of the other characters here to help Emmett and Wyldstyle keep passengers safe: Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash, Benny the astronaut, Metalbeard the pirate, and Princess Unikitty (Alison Brie), who delivers a song that — much to the Caped Crusader’s chagrin — is going to take up residence inside your brain for the foreseeable future.
The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part arrives in theaters on Feb. 9, 2019. Watch the trailer:
